Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 30 min | Serves: 8

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups Better Batter flour (225 g Original / 270 g Artisan or Cake flour)
  • 1 tbsp 14g baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 2 eggs or 1/2 cup 100g aquafaba or just egg substitute
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar or maple sugar (50g)
  • 1/2 cup (118ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 cups 474g regular or df milk
  • 1 1/2 cups add ins (blueberries or chocolate or banana or strawberries)

Instructions

Blend the flour, baking powder and salt and sugar or maple sugar

Add the eggs or aquafaba, oil and milk. Mix until it is smooth and creamy.

Fold in toppings of choice.

Cook. Heat your waffle maker and cook according to the makers directions. Use about 1/3 cup of batter per waffle. So, for my double square maker I use 1/3 cup batter on each side and my Belgian waffle maker has 4 compartments, so I use 1/3 cup for each compartment. My waffle maker will light up when it is done, but generally it takes about 6-8 minutes for each waffle.

Serve with butter and syrup and additional strawberries or topping if desired. Enjoy!
