Easy Gluten & Dairy Free Biscuits & Gravy

Nothing beats homemade biscuits and gravy. With our flour blends you can create, perfect homestyle flaky biscuits with savory sausage gravy. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 16 oz package of ground breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup original or artisan flour
  • 1 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Batch of Gluten Free Biscuits

Instructions

  • Start by making your biscuits and putting them in the oven. While the biscuits are cooking, make the gravy. 
  • In a large skillet (my favorite is cast iron) brown the sausage.
  • Sprinkle the flour all over the sausage and toss with a spatula to coat the sausage well.
  • Pour the milk, 1 cup at a time and stir well.
  • Continue to stir while the gravy thickens. It only takes about 3-4 minutes. Watch it because you don’t want your gravy to dry out.
  • Turn off the heat and sprinkle in the salt, pepper and granulated garlic.
  • Spoon on top of your biscuits and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Serve hot. Enjoy!
